the game does tend to cheat in terms of equipment eg everyone flying around with 20 weight temperal engines when theres only like 66 weight ones in teh shops, then again you get artifacts and unique hulls so its a trade off i guess. whats really funny is to see rangers with no free planets for their race, eg all dom controlled still flying basic hulls even though there are hulls by other racrs of better quality about

before you start shooting at every golden colored transport first talk to it. the one you are after will talk about transporting a load of junk, this is he ship that you need to blow up (for any of you pirates out there)

another mission i have found to be pretty annoying is the Maloq one about destroying a transport with refugees doing so takes your reputation down eg from excelent>good even on the planet that gave you the mission which seems a bit stupid, though again the pirates probably won't mind

i actually like the Bolid hull that you get from the science station, getting the dom kills are easy but its the text quest that i can't stand  so finding 20 quests with only 1/4 of the map is a pain but teh ship is a beuty when you get it, after the upgrade i stick an Armorpackage mm to make up for the -5 armour reduction by decreasing the space which in turn increases speed. trying to find a high speed low weight dom engine is hard (i think dom stuff has the same tech level as human seems to not be as durable as galean) anyway a fully upgraded Tortion reactor with the Divma mm meens very fast ship and plenty of space for the other stuff as well as about 500 cargo space
